Today I am facing a huge challenge! I am currently working on Phase 3 of the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp, lesson 6! Today’s task is called ”Power writing gone wild”. More precisely, my task is to write for 30 minutes straight and when an alarm goes off, I HAVE TO STOP and post my results in a discussion thread.
This page is for everyone who would like to learn how to improve writing skills. As always, I will share my experience and what I have learned in the last 122 days!
What a challenge
I am writing this in a real time and feeling stressed a lot. Lol. But this is a positive pressure. Grammarly is catching my typing mistakes, and I am trying to ignore them since my goal is to write as much as I can of the quality content in the next 30 minutes.
Holly Molly! I have 24 more minutes! Haha! Ok.
Let’s get serious.
My first blog posts
My first blog post was born on July 26th, 2016. That was the first day of my Wealthy Affiliate journal. That seemed like the best way to start. I was afraid of making mistakes and being judged, so I decided to write only for the Wealthy Affiliate members. I had a great motivation, though. I wanted to record each step I take along my Wealthy Affiliate journey.
Communication in English wasn’t so challenging for me anymore, after the years I spent working for the Carnival Cruise Line, but writing. Hmm actually, writing for people, that’s the new life chapter. An advanced English level for me.

Oh my God! I’ve written 256 words in 15 minutes? That’s almost a half of the post, and I almost said nothing. Lol
My average time for writing a blog post is about 3 hours, and this is such a big challenge!

Make a short script of your page
I should have planned each chapter of this page.
Ok. So I had a clear idea what to include in this page. But I haven’t written subtitles on the paper. And I was supposed to do that right?
It would be much easier now to go through this challenge. However, that’s something that improves writing a lot. This time I was just into beating this challenge 🙂
It’s so important to stay focused. My nephews just came home, and I couldn’t help myself but to stop my thoughts and greet them.
I am working at home, while my whole family is here. And guess what? I have my headphones on listening to relaxing music with binaural sounds in a background. And I hear nothing but my music 🙂
Try that; it’s so helpful!!!
Binaural sounds increase my concentration, focus and stimulate my inspiration.
Whether I am going to work or not that day, my morning routine is always the same. And it takes about an hour.
I set my alarm for 33 minutes and start my favorite part of the day:
- Autogenic training
- Silent meditation (until alarm goes off)
- Chakra breathing meditation
- Energising exercise
- Thanking for all that I am and all that I have
- Singing my affirmation song
- Taking two coffee spoons of honey and two glasses of water
- Taking 15 drops of Gingko Biloba tincture
After that, I am ready for the rest of the morning/daily routine.
P.S. Ever since I’ve been practicing this routine (started on the September 5th), I realized that I’ve been more focused, inspired, open and I’ve increased my self-confidence a lot.

Ok. Let’s review what are my tools for improving writing skills:
- Following the Wealthy Affiliate training (step by step, task by task)
- Accepting all kinds of challenges that Kyle gives us (he is a very successful online marketer, a great example, and teacher – a million after all)
- Using all the benefits that Wealthy Affiliate membership gives us (lessons, tutorials, live chat, support, networking, blogging)
- Planning and Prewriting a short script of the page
- Staying focused
- Creating a pleasant environment and being relaxed
- Creating a morning routine (you can feel free to use mine)
- Sharing the content within the community (that helps a lot)
- Writing down the ideas as soon as they arrive
- Being kind to yourself
Here are my screenshots. Notice my Grammarly corrections that I had to ignore. And I am such a huge perfectionist. This lesson was a hard but fun challenge for me.
