At Wealthy Affiliate – The First Month Of My Commitment

This page is about the rest of my first month at Wealthy Affiliate. The first 10 days of my experience you can find HERE.

And this page is about:
1. Dealing with the first major issues
2. My very own domain
3. The struggle with a content creation
4. Finding the right WordPress theme for my website was a big deal
5. Starting all over again
6. Getting to know the WA activity dashboard as a great source of an inspiration
7. The time zone struggle

Dealing with the first “major” issues

I was seriously stressed out when it came to the first issue I had to deal with. I couldn’t figure out anything and I felt like everything was against me. Even my screenshot tool.

Even my screenshot tool.

I got an awesome help from the fellow friends who actually explained to me that all the newbies go through that stressful process of figuring out “strange” things, and they gave me tips how to do all of the tasks I found difficult.

My self-confidence rose up again and I was sure again I could do it! I could get everything done!

My very own domain

I finally purchased my very own domain with my name. As an actress, it’s good to have a website which represents my work.

I was always thinking about that and finally, is mine!!! The web page is not done yet, it will be soon 😉

The struggle with a content creation

Content has a big role in an online business. At the beginning, I was struggling a lot. I had many ideas on my mind but my fingers just wouldn’t type. And that’s it!

But then, I discovered a fantastic deal! I started writing down whatever was on my mind without thinking of the final product.

Those few pages on the website are my first babies. My first words from my soul that I ever shared with the world. I learned that writing a content for the website doesn’t have to be official and standardized.

I realized that writing blog for me means:
Letting my artistic soul dancing online.

Finding the right WordPress theme was a big deal

I haven’t failed. I just found the ways that don’t work!

As a Wealthy Affiliate member, I have an access to over 2000 different WordPress themes for free. That means that I can install as many themes as I want and try them all.

I couldn’t decide which one was good enough for my website and I tried many of them.

This is how I got familiar with the WordPress dashboard and realized that some themes require a premium upgrade in order to let you have some features on your web page. As I didn’t have to go for premium I would just switch to another theme. And another. And another.

Starting all over again

After one very interesting self-talk on August 9th (my day 15 since I made a commitment), I decided to start all over again. I started my Certification course from the beginning for the third time. This time I created a plan with daily tasks and was going to “rebuild” my two websites.

Well, practice makes perfect!!!

I also decided to start with the BootCamp too and see how that goes. So I was spending 4 hours on the Certification course and my niche website and the rest on the BootCamp

New Websites

As I started my Wealthy Affiliate BootCamp, I bought my new domain for that purpose. And that’s this website which you visited today and which grew all the way up to this point that you are reading it’s content!

Do I need to point out how much I am happy for having you here on my page? 🙂

By the end of the first month, I created a Siterubix website for my good friend. That site doesn’t exist anymore, it is now

If you would like to build your free website, you can do it here:

Getting to know the WA activity dashboard as a great source of inspiration

Reading inspiring blogs and success stories written by the Wealthy Affiliate members helped me to go through the difficult struggling times.

There is this awesome member, Peter, who posts amazing quotes every day, and that’s his all public activity within the Wealthy Affiliate.

The time zone struggle

Well it was unthinkable for me to sleep at night during my first month of the commitment I made. I took it so seriously. I was staying up until early morning getting my lessons done, sleeping just a couple of hours after that before getting into work again.

And there is something more I have learned during this first month:

That’s all folks! My first month came to the end! The first 30 days! On August 24, I reached the TOP 200 RANK at the Wealthy Affiliate and went on vacation with my friend.

The next chapter for me to write about and for you to read is the month of September 🙂 But before we get there together, you can feel free to share your thoughts on anything mentioned above.

I will be more than happy to chat with you 🙂

Hi, Sunny. It was great reading your first month experience at Wealthy Affiliate. It sounds very similar to mine, especially staring at a blank page wondering what to write. I still struggle with that, but it’s good to know that I’m not the only one. There are so many great people there to help.

    • Sunny says:

Hey Andy, thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment 🙂
I would like to say the same. It’s good to know that I am not the only one lol
Did you have that experience of starring at a blank page recently? I think that I write much easier now, but I still need ages to get done one post

This was incredibly inspiring, I loved the fact that you have documented your progress and talked about the challenges surrounding content creation. This displays a level of integrity that is often missing on line. This should inspire people who have faced many struggles. All of the ‘Pros’ that I come across use companies like iWriter to bulk up their content creation activities. You might get some value from it. Great post.
